Job Title: BHAT Specialist

This role is part of the Behavioral Health Assessment Team (BHAT) at Kettering Health Dayton, providing psychiatric evaluation and support services for patients across various departments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for patients.
  • Coordinate psychiatric consultation services network-wide, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Facilitate the transfer of patients to the most suitable location after stabilization of their medical condition.

Requirements:
  • Masters Degree preferred; minimum Bachelor Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Demonstrate licensure as a PC, PCC, LSW, or LISW with 1-2 years of experience or be licensed as a Registered Nurse RN or RNC with at least 2 years experience in psychiatric nursing.
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of psychiatric hospital inpatient social work experience.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on national averages for similar roles in the industry.
