Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute assembly tasks, ensuring proper alignment and final configuration of components.
  • Utilize various hand tools, fixtures, and testing equipment to perform assembly operations.
  • Gather and document test data using databases and office software to track the manufacturing process.
  • Engage in troubleshooting production issues and contribute to process optimization decisions.
  • Assist in the selection and setup of specialized machinery.
  • Conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Perform setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and audit guidelines.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly is required.
  • Experience in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, complex manufacturing processes is essential.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 6S methodology, and continuous improvement practices is advantageous.
  • Prior assembly experience in a controlled environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) is necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team of 8-10 members.
  • Capability to analyze and resolve issues both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to support project initiatives, conduct training, and function efficiently within cohesive teams.
  • Self-driven individual with strong organizational capabilities.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
