Edmonds, Washington, United States APPS of Seattle Full time

We are seeking medical professionals to join our team as Mobile Medical Assistants/Phlebotomists in Edmonds/Lynnwood areas. APPS of Seattle is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products.

The successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision as they complete quality exams while using their medical know-how. They should be committed to following all compliance policies as well as safety policies and procedures while remaining sensitive to the need for accuracy and confidentiality in the gathering of client information.

As a Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for conducting exams on a mobile basis in the home or office of the client, which may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, salvia samples, and 12 lead EKGs. The exams can last anywhere from 15 minutes to a little over an hour, depending on the requirements.

We offer flexible scheduling opportunities, allowing you to set your own schedule and choose the zip codes you will work within. Our independent contractors are reimbursed every two weeks by direct deposit for each exam they complete.

To be eligible for this role, you must have actively practiced phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of work experience, be trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection, and have familiarity with tablets/computers. EKG experience is preferred but not required.

In exchange for your expertise, we provide a competitive estimated salary of $40-$60 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, we assist in scheduling your appointments and provide equipment rentals, such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges.

Please note that references will be checked, and a background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process. We value professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in our candidates.
