Your responsibilities as an Automotive Service Technician will include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to create loyal clients
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicles according to specifications, which may involve brake systems, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical systems, suspension, alignment, and air conditioning
  • Reducing customer complaints by providing thorough and efficient repair services
  • Working independently while also collaborating effectively with team members
  • Ensuring that shop equipment is well-maintained and complies with safety and environmental standards
  • Clearly explaining technical diagnoses and necessary services to both colleagues and customers in a friendly manner
  • Continuously updating your technical knowledge through formal training to keep pace with evolving automotive technology
  • Keeping management informed of any mechanical repair issues as they arise
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Safely operating equipment and customer vehicles
  • Fostering strong communication among store team members and support departments
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Complying with legal guidelines, including OSHA regulations
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications to apply:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is necessary
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in vehicle repairs is preferred
  • A positive attitude and the ability to connect well with team members and customers
  • Experience with passenger/light truck maintenance, oil changes, tire repairs, and minor automotive repairs
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as engaging in activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping
