Dietitian Professional

Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a faith-based, nonprofit short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care facility.

• Work effectively with the clinical team to provide comprehensive nutrition support for acute and long-term care residents.

• Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• MS or BS degree plus completion of a dietetic internship program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
• Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy.
• Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS, and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care.
• Excellent client services, organization, and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Point Click Care.

• Competitive compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 per year based on skills and experience.
