Job Description:- Collaborate with teams to maintain safety, product quality/yield, and manufacturing effectiveness by resolving process challenges.
- Assist in optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve sustainable improvements in cost and product performance through capital projects, statistical analysis, designed experiments, and procedural enhancements.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive process improvements and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:- Resolve process challenges and maintain safety, product quality/yield, and manufacturing effectiveness.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to improve cost and product performance.
- Conduct engineering studies to improve process capability and reduce variability.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as process flow diagrams, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support for the introduction of new equipment and technology upgrades.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement process control strategies to ensure consistency and quality in production.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process deviations and quality issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes, procedures, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with engineering modeling and design software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct statistical analysis and implement data-driven improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
