Position Overview:
This role is designated for a Quality Assurance Technician to assist in the Production Operations at RMS, focusing on the Full Mission Simulator for the Joint Strike Fighter. The primary duties will encompass hardware and software verification, asset setup, configuration of IP and MAC addresses, networking tasks, system initialization, operational assessments, and troubleshooting of testing apparatus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hardware and software validation to ensure system integrity.
  • Configure and manage networking components and address assignments.
  • Support system initialization and perform operational testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to testing systems.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in networking and testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for remote operational support is preferred.

Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional physical activities such as climbing and lifting. Candidates should be prepared for potential swing shifts, extended hours, and weekend support to meet testing schedules.
