Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical support to participants, including vital sign checks, weight recording, and reporting changes to the nurse.
  • Conduct random, hourly bedroom checks daily and compile client charts within 24 hours of admission.
  • Assemble charts according to an approved format and review forms for completion.
  • Participate in program evaluation processes as necessary, including data collection.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in Pennsylvania.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved nurse's aide-training program.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology relevant to job duties and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of alcoholism and other addictions and the special needs of addicted women.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations.
  • Ability to act as a role model for residents.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
