We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to provide exceptional inpatient care within a collaborative healthcare environment. This role offers a full-time employment model with a competitive compensation package.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $250,000
- Potential Earnings: With productivity bonuses, current physicians are achieving earnings of $260,000+
- Sign-On Bonus and Student Loan Assistance: Negotiable
- Work RVU Conversion Rate: $48
- Bonus Compensation for exceeding RVU thresholds
- Weekend Call Coverage: 1 in 3
- Continuing Medical Education (CME): 40 hours per year after the first year
- CME & Dues Allowance: $4,000 per contract year after the first year
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000
- Pension Plan
- Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family
- Additional support: Hospital covers malpractice, licensure, DEA, CSR, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work a 7 on / 7 off block schedule
- Deliver inpatient care and conduct consultations
- Accept admissions from outpatient physicians/providers and patients without a primary care provider
- Participate in 24/7 hospital call coverage for the Internal Medicine department and provide consults in the emergency department and for other specialties
- Onsite call during the day with the option to take call from home at night
- Minimal nighttime calls, with nurse practitioner support on Sunday-Thursday nights
- Collaborate with a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) during the day
- Must be Internal Medicine trained and Board certified or scheduled to sit for Boards (Family Practice considered with Hospitalist experience)
- ACLS certification required
- Perform procedures including ventilator management, intubations, and central lines
- Respond to Rapid Assessment Team (RAT) calls on the floors
- Conduct ICU rounding in a 6-bed Open ICU
- Access to 24-hour pharmacy and radiology support, with lab and x-ray services on-site
- Major trauma cases are referred to specialized facilities.
