We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our outpatient nutrition team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, documentation, and plan of care in an outpatient setting, with a focus on metabolic conditions, weight management, and bariatrics.
- Collaborate with the Metabolic Physician to evaluate and treat patients based on their individual needs.
- Work closely with other team members to provide patients with the highest standards of care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in nutrition and dietetics, and apply this knowledge to create and adjust education materials as needed.
- Maintain quality assurance and evaluate compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, or related field.
- Licensed with the State of New Jersey as a Registered Dietetic Technician or Registered Dietician or Dietary Manager Association, or as applicable.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, or related field, and 2-3 years of experience in outpatient nutrition or a relevant area.
