Job SummaryAs a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs. You will work under the supervision of a physician at a hospital, physician's office, diagnostic lab, or imaging center. Your role will involve helping patients understand the procedure, preparing and delivering radioactive drugs, operating equipment, keeping records, and more.
Responsibilities- Administer radioactive drugs to patients
- Prepare patients for testing
- Operate equipment
- Keep accurate records
- Work under the supervision of a physician
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
- ARRT/NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
