Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Greeley Hospital.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, operating complex equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine technology
  • Operate and maintain complex equipment, including gamma cameras and radiopharmaceutical dispensing systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding nuclear medicine procedures and results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program
  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
