Clean Harbors, a leading environmental services company, seeks an Environmental Field Chemist to join their team. As an Environmental Field Chemist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe handling, segregation, packing, and inspection of chemical waste in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

This position requires strong customer service skills, as you will work directly with customers to understand their specific disposal needs. You will also be responsible for preparing computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restriction notifications.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement within six months of employment. A college degree in chemistry or natural sciences is preferred but not required.

In this entry-level management position, you will have opportunities for growth and development within the company. With Clean Harbors, you can work in any of our 200+ branch locations and transfer internally. After completing training, you will have the opportunity to move into a salary management position.

We offer a competitive pay range of $25-28 per hour, depending on experience, plus comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.
