Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente's nursing model prioritizes patient-centered care. As an LPN, you'll work under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians to provide direct and indirect care to patients and families. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for office visits by reviewing their medical history, collecting relevant clinical information, and documenting in the medical record.
  • Completing point-of-entry (POE) assessments and addressing care gaps during patient encounters.
  • Preparing rooms and equipment for procedures and assisting practitioners as needed.

You'll also participate in emergency care, educate patients on diagnostic studies, schedule appointments for lab, radiology, or specialty consultations, and engage with patients and families in care coordination.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A valid practical nurse license in Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
