About the Role:

Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietary Staff Member to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
  • Help maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Deliver food trays to residents and collect dirty dishes
  • Restock supplies and food as needed
  • Follow state and federal regulations concerning food safety
  • Work collaboratively with the dietary manager to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and meal orders

Working Routine:

The Dietary Staff Member will work under the supervision of the dietary manager and will be responsible for assisting residents with their nutritional needs. This may include passing around food trays, following safety guidelines, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
