Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly staffing; write supervisory case notes for each case discussed.
  • Ensure employee workloads support the achievement of positive outcomes for families.
  • Review case files/paperwork for adherence to agency/contractual requirements and quality.
  • Provide conflict resolution when problems arise.
  • Provide initial and on-going training of staff.
  • Attend court, as needed, and provide support/expertise to caseworker.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related field, with minimum 2 years' child welfare experience, preferably in Intact Family Services. Professional oral and written communication skills, ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information, and knowledge and understanding of family systems and area social service resources are essential.
