We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Evening & Weekend Aide at Home Health Works in Clearwater, Florida.

Job Summary:

The Evening & Weekend Aide will provide home healthcare services during evening Monday-Friday and weekend day and evening hours, totaling 36 hours a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with personal care tasks, administering medication reminders, performing light housekeeping duties, preparing nutritious meals, and providing companionship and social activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities, such as reading, watching movies, or playing games.
  • Document client care activities and report any changes in client behavior or health.

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of experience as a home health aide.
  • Valid certification or license as a home health aide in Florida.
  • CPR Certification.
  • TB/Physical (Free of communicable diseases statement).
  • Own vehicle, valid Driver's license, and Auto Insurance.
  • Level II Background screening.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
