Position Overview

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Chief CT Technologist to oversee our CT imaging services. We are committed to redefining radiology as a vital component in diagnosis and treatment. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring our team excels in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Imaging (55%):

  • Conduct thorough patient screenings to identify any precautions or contraindications prior to examinations.
  • Execute both routine and advanced CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare and explain CT procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the process.
  • Adjust scanning parameters as necessary, employing dose reduction techniques to enhance patient safety.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, physicians, and staff to promote excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS) while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

2. Staff Management (25%):

  • Ensure all CT technologists are well-versed in company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Monitor staffing levels to guarantee adequate coverage for all modalities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff development initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and one-on-one discussions to enhance communication.

3. Operational Oversight (15%):

  • Maintain and sanitize imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Address any hazardous conditions or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Uphold a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal policies regarding safety and documentation.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to support operational efficiency.

4. Additional Duties (5%):

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the department's goals.

This role is a full-time position with a standard work schedule.
