Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Efficiency AirSide product engineering team in York, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a full range of engineering responsibilities, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
  • Independently develop approaches to solutions and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine best techniques, procedures, and theories, and apply them to analysis, design, or research of mechanical equipment and components related to the HVAC industry.
  • Apply statistical analysis and quality principles to drive results and improve product design.
  • Plan complex projects and product releases, driving for results and cross-functional work with other departments.
  • Provide technical direction to designers and technicians on specific work assignments, guiding and mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Define specifications for multiple features or products, using expertise to design a balanced system approach and cognizant of all associated activities.
  • Prepare and participate in design reviews, communicating project and product information to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or related science.
  • 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role with experience managing projects.
  • AutoCAD / Inventor experience is beneficial.
  • Must be commuting distance to York, PA, or open to relocation.
