Job Summary:

The Maintenance Millwright will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our team by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems. This includes proposing and implementing innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business. Safety is a top priority, and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process and business
  • Ensure safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards are upheld at all times

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in steel mill mechanical maintenance or equivalent
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, scheduled and unscheduled overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Caster mechanical maintenance
  • 2-year or 4-year degree in mechanical or related field
