Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at a top engineering firm in the area. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in the AEC industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents relevant to a given property's soil profile
  • Reduce and organize data to provide recommendations for foundation design
  • Conduct on-site observations of excavation techniques and soil sampling
  • Collaborate on the co-design of multiple geotechnical engineering projects
  • Coordinate and execute various projects with geotechnical staff
  • Work closely with project management teams to monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • PE or EIT certification (or ability to obtain PE within the next year)
  • Project experience with bridges, roadways, retaining walls, slopes, and embankments, buildings, and various methods of ground improvements
  • Project Management experience
  • Understanding of diverse AASHTO and ASTM Standards, along with practical familiarity with CAD and software for soil logging
  • Software Skills: Microsoft Suite, gINT, geotechnical analysis software experience is a plus
Compensation:
  • $75k-$100k depending on experience
  • Excellent benefits package, profit sharing options, and generous PTO
