Responsibilities:

  • Consistently and safely operate machinery at or above standard performance levels, focusing on waste reduction, quality assurance, efficiency, and utilization.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and rectify machine-related issues through appropriate adjustments to various machine components.
  • Provide innovative solutions to production challenges.
  • Offer support and guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Complete necessary end-of-shift documentation, accounting for crew time, machine operation time, and production quantities.
  • Inspect and identify defective products, making machine adjustments to correct the underlying causes of defects.
  • Adhere to all housekeeping, standard work, and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, effective problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

  • Manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in record-keeping as per prescribed frequencies.
  • Analytical skills and basic math skills for recording production data.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor machine issues.
  • Understanding of production measurement tools.
  • Knowledge of product quality standards.
  • Familiarity with principles of thermoforming machinery.
