Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cardiac Cath Lab to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the Cardiac Cath Lab, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Cardiac Cath Lab team, ensuring alignment with hospital and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, healthcare administration) and 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related area.
  • Or, high school diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related area, with a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
  • RCIS certification within 6 months of hire date.
