Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Surgery Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As an OR Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room, demonstrating clinical competence and adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room, with a focus on orthopedic surgery.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, patient care protocols, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
