Job SummaryThis part-time role will involve working onsite with our client in Scotts Valley, providing primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within our occupational health program. As an Occupational Medicine Professional, you will be responsible for examining patients, compiling patient medical data, and administering diagnostic tests.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients and compile patient medical data
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests
- Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal
- Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care
- Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
- Board Certification
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine

This part-time role requires a minimum of one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting. You will be expected to work onsite with our client in Scotts Valley, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM.
