Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Edgewater, New Jersey. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing high-quality imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT scanning protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in CT technology and imaging techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Formal Radiology technology training and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Valid license by the State of New York and injection registration required.
