Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Frito-Lay North America Careers. As a key member of our logistics and transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor/trailer in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, transporting products to and from specified destinations.
  • Load and unload trailers, including manual loading/unloading, palletized loading/unloading, and the use of a two-wheeler.
  • Transport chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers.
  • Obtain signature of receipt and complete logs and other paperwork related to deliveries.
  • Use an electronic logging device to track hours and other important information.
  • Interact with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL and at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
