Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the health, appearance, and comfort of our patients. You will work independently and collaboratively with our veterinary team to provide top-notch grooming services tailored to each pet's needs and owner expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, professional grooming services using force-free methods and ensuring the safety and comfort of every pet in your care.
  • Educate pet owners on our products and services, providing them with a thorough understanding of their pet's needs and our capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough check-in and check-out processes for each pet owner, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
  • Bath and groom scheduled pets without assistance, unless otherwise arranged, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Document grooming instructions and fees for all grooming clients on physical cards or in software.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of our hospital.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional grooming experience with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Grooming certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with standard cuts for all breeds and the ability to work with dogs of all sizes.
  • Skilled in nail trimming, scissoring, styling, and other grooming techniques.
  • Sound understanding of animal behavior and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to handle dogs of all sizes and lift up to 60 pounds.
