Job Title: Onsite- Appium Mobile Automation Tester with Java

We are seeking a highly skilled Appium Mobile Automation Tester with Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile automation, with experience in iOS/Android native applications, back-end scripting, and automation using Selenium and Appium.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting code reviews, maintaining code quality, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and working with the platform team to align with enterprise standards and merge the code. They will also assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium with Java, collaborate with senior team members to understand test requirements and convert them to automated test cases, debug and troubleshoot test scripts, identify and report issues to improve script reliability, test at an API level, ensure the latest builds are consistent, implement the regression suite and its maintenance, configure the ADO pipeline for running the regression suite on a daily basis, analyze failures in test results generated, and work on both iOS and Android devices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
  • 10-12 years of Mobile Automation Tester experience.
  • Strong skill set on mobile automation using Appium 2.x.
  • Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
