Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will provide patient care to assigned patients with neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and document assessment data
  • Develop and implement a Plan of Care (POC) per standard
  • Administer medication per standard and provide education to patients and families
  • Act as a resource and support others in delivering patient care
  • Delegate care based on UAMS standards and individual level of education and training
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
  • Valid RN License
  • One (1) year Registered Nursing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
