Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Senior Regional Intelligence Analyst dedicated to analyzing military and political dynamics at various levels of engagement, particularly concerning Russia. This role will involve high-level intelligence production and collaboration with executive staff at II MEF.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on military and political developments in Russia across strategic, operational, and tactical dimensions.
  • Act as the principal analyst and team leader for the Russia Country Team.
  • Oversee comprehensive analysis on the Russian Way of War, spearheading intelligence production and distribution initiatives.
  • Support the II MEF G2 IOC Director and Fusion Chief with daily intelligence production tasks.
  • Represent II MEF G2 IOC in essential operational meetings and briefings.
  • Ensure quality control and senior-level editing for intelligence outputs.
  • Engage in a variety of intelligence production activities, including environmental assessments, situation analysis, and information warfare, to create cohesive and refined intelligence products.
  • Gather, assess, and disseminate intelligence information to enhance the understanding of Russian capabilities for the II MEF Commanding General and Primary Staff.
  • Collaborate with various intelligence disciplines and agencies to support II MEF's intelligence production efforts.
  • Provide training to Marines on intelligence production processes to maintain relevance and accuracy in line with industry standards.
  • Generate weekly reports on intelligence status as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory (U.S. Citizenship required).

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), Joint Planning Process (JPP), or similar military planning methodologies.
  • Experience supporting Service, COCOM, or JS operations with the ability to create planning and briefing materials for General Officer audiences.
  • Capability to learn and utilize software and programming tools effectively.
