Data Systems Engineer

At ShiftCode Analytics, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and a passion for building scalable data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and organize raw data from various sources
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and Airflow
  • Collaborate with data scientists and architects to develop data-driven solutions
  • Work independently with data owners to design and implement data flows

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Previous experience as a Big Data Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and data models
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases, Redis, and Graph databases
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and S3
  • Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka or RMQ
  • Experience with Gitlab-based CI/CD and Data Catalog
