Job Overview

Levco Management is seeking a dedicated Regional Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a collection of properties in Virginia. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the apartment sector, demonstrating reliability, diligence, and a commitment to enhancing both technical and managerial capabilities. This role entails ensuring the aesthetic appeal of properties, addressing maintenance requests, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, and managing apartment turnovers.

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in the apartment industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a property with over 400 units.
  • Experience with multiple or large apartment complexes is preferred.
  • Frequent travel between properties across Virginia is required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to recruit, guide, and oversee team members while prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proficient HVAC skills (installation and troubleshooting/repair) with EPA Universal certification.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
  • General plumbing and electrical skills are essential.
  • Broad apartment maintenance skills (including drywall and appliance repair).
  • Must provide personal hand tools and portable power tools.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently without relying on external contractors.
  • Successful candidates must pass a background check.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor on-site maintenance team members, providing guidance and training as necessary.
  • Assist in developing capital improvement budgets.
  • Ensure high-quality maintenance and turnover operations.
  • Oversee and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Manage, schedule, and supervise contracted maintenance work.
  • Coordinate and assist with apartment preparation tasks.
  • Plan, oversee, and execute preventative maintenance programs.
  • Organize and maintain maintenance facilities and inventory according to company standards.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Respond to and manage community emergencies in accordance with company policies to minimize liabilities.
  • Support staff to foster teamwork and lead by example in creating a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to uphold community standards and ensure timely, quality repairs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Assist with special projects and company initiatives, providing support to other maintenance staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with the construction department as required.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by your supervisor.
