About the Role

City Of Gary is seeking a motivated Custodian to join our facilities team. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of our fitness center and surrounding grounds.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the overall appearance of the facility through regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Providing excellent customer service by ensuring that all areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Performing routine maintenance activities such as checking and replacing filters, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-stocking supplies.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and has a keen eye for detail. You will need to be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at heights, as well as stand, walk and bend for long periods of time.
