Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, answer questions, and provide solutions to their parts needs.
  • Parts Ordering and Inventory Management: Accurately receive and process parts orders, maintain accurate inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of parts to customers and service technicians.
  • Merchandise Displays: Ensure merchandise displays are stocked, clean, and appealing to customers.
  • Computer System Efficiency: Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for parts management.
  • Service Technician Support: Interface with service technicians to ensure their parts needs are being met, assist in determining parts requirements for individual jobs, and recommend related parts.
  • Inventory Control: Update inventory control system and parts catalogue, receive and log merchandise into inventory, and notify service personnel when special parts or back-ordered parts are received.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the parts department and inventory areas.
Requirements:
  • Passion for People and Automotive Industry: Passion for working with people and the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of motorcycle front end, suspension, and engine components.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with servicing of motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn.
  • Computer Skills: Experience with Point-of-Sale and computerized inventory systems or the ability to learn new technology.
  • Communication Skills: Friendly, outgoing personality, skilled at thinking creatively and mechanically, and able to understand and communicate customer needs to technicians.

Estimated Annual Salary: $45,000
