**Job Description:** As a Deli Sales Associate at KJ's Market, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our deli department meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving high-quality products, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and providing exceptional guest service. You will be required to work well under pressure, multitasking with ease while maintaining attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality products in the deli department.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to KJ's Market standards.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and sales data.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally, with regular breaks and stretching exercises.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience in retail or food service an asset.
