We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Innovative Renal Care. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals suffering from End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Your technical skills and compassionate nature will enable you to develop meaningful relationships with patients and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, initiating cannulation, and patient observations.
- Set up and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring accurate and efficient treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification from BONENT, NNCC, or NNCO (or state-approved equivalent) for experienced PCTs.
- BLS/CPR certification for experienced PCTs.
- Desire to care for people and comfort working around blood and needles.
- Be part of a team that makes a difference in people's lives.
- Annual raises significantly above industry standard.
- Recognize your most recent dialysis experience to calculate paid time off accrual.
