We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Automation Lead to contribute to our projects in San Jose, CA. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Java backend technologies and a proven track record in automating data workflows and testing procedures. Your contributions will be vital in managing the complete lifecycle of monetization and automation initiatives. This role involves the upkeep and improvement of our proprietary testing framework, which is essential for the client’s item listing and billing processes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 75% focus on Java backend development, 25% on automation ownership
  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Experience with Java, Oracle, Data Warehousing, and SQL
  • Capability to design systems (High-Level Design / Low-Level Design)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in Java backend development.
  • Automate current data workflows and scripts, emphasizing monetization and comprehensive automation processes.
  • Improve and sustain the proprietary testing framework, ensuring that all client items undergo the billing process.
  • Develop code that addresses all testing scenarios (approximately 1,000), including modifications to items and the addition/removal of features.
  • Quickly familiarize yourself with the domain, especially in specialized areas, and resolve any existing testing challenges.
  • Design and implement systems utilizing Java, Oracle, Data Warehousing, and SQL technologies.
