Job Summary

">

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Financial Analyst to join our team at APL. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial data related to our direct-sponsored project portfolio, including performing monthly updates of project plans, highlighting financial spending and staffing trends, identifying anomalies, and calculating financial projections.">
  • Proposal Development: Proactively lead the proposal development process by collaborating with resource owners to identify staffing requirements and preparing all basis of estimates (BOEs), resulting in an accurate and fully compliant proposal packages for submission to government sponsors.">
  • Contract and Financial Administration: Perform a broad range of financial operations functions, including leading all efforts related to contract and financial administration and providing sound contractual and financial guidance and recommendations for best practices to program managers.">
  • Program Reviews and Meetings: Actively participate in program reviews and program/sponsor meetings and proactively respond to and address all business/financial matters pertaining to the program.">

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in a field of Business (e.g. Business Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance), or equivalent years of experience and 2+ years of relevant experience in the areas of financial and cost analysis.">
  • A proven ability to be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.">
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel.">
  • The ability to obtain an interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.">

Bonus Information

">

Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. APL provides eligible staff with a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, and training and development.

Estimated Salary Range: $54,700 - $175,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
