Role Summary:

As a Patient Care Technician at Mercy, you will engage in clinical tasks, offer non-clinical assistance, and contribute to team objectives. Join us in a healing environment that emphasizes compassionate care and outstanding service.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma, G.E.D., CNA/CPCT certification, or currently pursuing a healthcare career.
  • Experience: No previous experience necessary. New hires will participate in a thorough 175-hour training program to fulfill state regulations.
  • Certifications: BLS certification is required within one month of employment, and completion of PCT competencies within three months.
  • Physical Requirements: The role necessitates physical abilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, along with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Preferred Experience: EMT, Paramedic, or prior patient care experience.
  • Preferred Certifications: CNA, EMT, AUA, CPCT.
