We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Shore Medical Center. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our steam and condensate return system, vacuum, medical gas system, natural gas system, sanitary and storm system, hot and cold water, and fire protection systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including steam and condensate return systems, vacuum systems, and medical gas systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime and ensure patient care is not disrupted.
- Order supplies and materials as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- High School Graduate/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Valid NJ Driver's License.
- Valid NJ Plumber License preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5 years of experience in plumbing and maintenance.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for extended periods.
