Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair, maintenance, and care of our parks, facilities, and related structures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform responsible skilled work in the repair, maintenance, and care of parks, facilities, and related structures and equipment.
  • Conduct rough carpentry and painting tasks in the repair, maintenance, and construction of ground structures and equipment.
  • Perform related work in park and facility maintenance as required.
  • Exercise supervision over a small crew or unskilled helpers, as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscape maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, as needed.
