About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at The Clorox Company. As a key member of our Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and starting up complex automation and technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical engineering efforts through all phases of capital projects, from conceptual to startup and validation.
  • Develop and manage estimates, financial analysis, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Support system start-up and operational checkout, including configuration, wiring, calibration, and power testing.
  • Provide hardware and software application support assistance to engineers and operations.
  • Contribute to technical leadership for major technology efforts in the organization.
  • Utilize technical materials to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/control systems.
  • Implement capital building and equipment installations to improve manufacturing competitive performance.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and finances to meet predetermined business objectives.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree (BSEE or similar) with 8 years of experience in manufacturing (CPG, Foods, discrete manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong technical skills related to electrical/instrumentation and controls, industrial power distribution, and Rockwell's control system and devices.
  • Design capability in multiple disciplines, demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, and working knowledge of data collection systems.
  • Ability to develop, read, and interpret P&IDs and electrical drawings, and experience managing spending to approved capital and expense budgets.
  • Motivation and commitment to lead and direct others to exceptional results, aligning technical tasks with overall business objectives.
