This position entails verifying policy coverage, assessing claim legitimacy, setting reserves, approving payments, and keeping all stakeholders informed about the claim's progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and evaluate claims submissions
- Assess claim legitimacy and compensability
- Handle uncomplicated medical claims and more complex lost-time claims
- Maintain effective communication with all relevant parties
- Follow client and carrier protocols
- Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in claims management
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in computer applications
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
Compensation Range:
$50,593 - $81,593
