Nurse Care Specialist

As a Nurse Care Specialist with HCA, you will be part of our dynamic team in the Central Resource Pool (CRP). In this role, you will float to various units across the facility, delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within your scope of practice and based on your competencies.
- Float to critical care, medical, surgical, telemetry, step down, neuroscience, cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, oncology, post anesthesia care, short stay, and emergency department units.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to implement a care plan tailored to each patient's needs.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary using computerized documentation systems.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
- 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
