Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services in an educational environment. The SLP will focus on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech and language challenges faced by students. This role is crucial in crafting tailored intervention strategies that promote effective communication and academic achievement.
Key Duties:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Design and execute customized treatment plans that cater to individual student requirements.
- Deliver direct therapeutic services to students to mitigate speech and language issues.
- Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and school personnel to advance students' educational and communicative objectives.
- Track and record student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary.
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in formulating student goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
