We are seeking a part-time Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our community.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of facilities, including classrooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, and equipment.
- Use basic custodial techniques, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, pressure washing, window washing, and carpet cleaning.
- Arrange and deliver furniture, equipment, and supplies to various facilities and locations.
- Work independently at multiple facilities, planning and conducting custodial duties with minimal supervision.
- Travel between facilities, conduct service calls, and transport district inventory and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards facility users and staff.
- Valid Oregon Driver License and be 18 years of age or older.
- No minimum education required, but relevant experience in custodial, cleaning, maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
- Part-time benefits (PTB) eligible employees work an average of 20 hours per week and are eligible to enroll in a benefits package.
- Free drop-in access to all THPRD recreation facilities for their household.
