Job Overview

We are looking for skilled MIG Aluminum Fabricators to contribute to the assembly of aluminum trailer components. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Measuring, cutting, and welding aluminum materials to create the bases and frames of trailers.
  • Interpreting blueprints and work orders to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The MIG Aluminum Fabricator will:

  • Execute various welding techniques, including tacking and clamping, ensuring proper bead size and structural integrity.
  • Source raw materials as needed from Material Handlers.
  • Utilize hand-held power grinders to smooth rough edges.
  • Report any mechanical or material discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure that the final product adheres to quality expectations and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, minimizing waste and returning unused materials to designated areas.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any incidents immediately.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
