About the Job
">We are looking for a skilled Clinical Coding Analyst to join our team at NYU Langone Health. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records to assign accurate codes for billing and statistical purposes.
">Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate coding review, claim submission, and charge reconciliation for various specialties and providers.">
- Provide coding, financial, and operational reports to stakeholders and provide feedback to improve documentation and maximize revenue.">
- Review and train practices on local and national coding and reimbursement policies.">
- Work with patients and guarantors to clarify financial responsibilities as needed.">
- Monitor reports and assigned workqueues to ensure timely coding, charge submission, and accounts receivable follow-up.">
- Perform charge reconciliation to validate all revenue is captured.">
- Identify coding or documentation issues and suggest improvements to physicians and practice management.">
- Collaborate with corporate Revenue Integrity Analysts to stay up-to-date on CPT and ICD-10 guidelines and payer policy manuals.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and relevant work experience OR High School Diploma and the successful completion of the NYU Langone Health Coding Program.
">You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.
">The estimated salary for this position is $62,400.00 - $63,586.43 annually.
