The position involves planning, coordinating maintenance, managing vendor relationships, and responding to plant emergencies with minimal supervision.

We are seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Operations Manager to join our team at Waste Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facility, including planning, coordinating maintenance, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, as well as operational standards.
  • Respond to plant emergencies with minimal supervision, identifying the cause of the shutdown and rectifying/diagnosing through appropriate repairs or adjustments.
  • Coordinate with WMRE operations managers, landfill management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth facility operations.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant work experience diagnosing and repairing internal combustion engines and cooling systems.
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer data entry and interpretation.
  • Able to travel up to 15% with overnight stays.
  • Familiarity with basic principles of building maintenance.
